Orange Flood Control, LLC installed 15 swing gates to protect pumps, mechanics, and electrical components at this major sewage treatment facility in Newark, NJ. These gates will protect vital equipment in a series of underground chambers, so the plant can maintain safe flow and protect the community. At this critical infrastructure project in Newark NJ, our solution-driven team collaborated with facility managers, general contractors, and crane operators to coordinate key details that kept the flood mitigation project smoothly progressing. After the treatment plant was severely damaged during Superstorm Sandy, OFC’s continued work is critical to maintain healthy river ecosystems in the Passaic Valley region.
